BUB is a very special one-of-a-kind critter. More specifically, she is the most amazing cat on the planet. In July of 2011, she crash landed on Earth, and was mistakenly discovered as the runt of a healthy feral litter in rural Indiana. She was taken in as a rescue when it was clear that she would require special care. Since then BUB has become one of the most famous cats on planet. She is a published author, a talk show host, the star of an award-winning documentary, Lil Bub & Friendz (2013), is a Billboard topping artist, has over six million social media followers, created the first national fund for special needs pets, and has helped raise over 00,000 for animals in need. Since becoming world-famous in the summer of 2012, BUB has made it her mission to spread a message of positivity, acceptance, perseverance, and of course animal welfare awareness, encouraging people to adopt, spay, and neuter their pets.

Among her many skills, BUB is an accomplished musician. We are proud to debut Lil BUB’s remix of SINOSA’s “If U Must Dance,” called “Dance Only With Your Paws.” About the mix, SINOSA tells us: “It’s experimental dance music and I wanted a remix that accentuated its pop side. What was the origin story behind your new remix?

It started millions of years ago in a distant galaxy, when I first realized that I had a gift for everything. The lead synth line that opens this remix was formed right around that time, and lay dormant in my tiny yet powerful brain until Sinosa sent over an email asking me if I’d like to collaborate.

What are your favorite hobbies?

Telekinesis, telepathy, teleportation, levitation, time travel, space travel, and napping.

What kinds of snacks do you enjoy? 

Yogurt and fish.

What is your favorite toy?

My third eye.

Do you have a friend who is another animal? Who are they and how did you meet them? 

I have animal acquaintances for sure, but I don’t really make friends with Earth animals. I can co-exist with them, like my adopted siblings Spooky, Special Agent Dale Cooped, and Vivian-  but I certainly wouldn’t call us “friends.” 

Do you generally get along with other animals or do you prefer the company of humans?

I prefer the company of humans, but not all humans. Only ones with pure hearts and genuine intentions.

Is there anywhere that you haven’t been that you’re dying to visit? 

The Pyramids—my ancestors built them. I don’t think it’s going to happen though, quarantine laws are a real bitch.
